Eating Wednesday’s words
Today – I wish to wind back to Wednesday when I was bemoaning my lack of sales during our Open Studios event. I was being unnecessarily pessimistic (it turns out). So – let’s start again – as I have already said, the week was wonderfully rewarding because of meeting my visitors and responding to their interesting questions about all sorts of things – in particular the various printmaking processes. But I can now report that sales exceeded expectations too. So I am eating Wednesday’s words and want to say thanks to visitors and buyers alike. I really appreciated the amount of time so many people spent looking at the work, their really pertinent and carefully considered observations, and all the positive comments. I am now fired up more than ever to get going on the next batch of work.
