Welcome to my Blog

A new website

Today, everyone has been talking about the possibility of the jet stream moving away from us and the prospect of a summer.  Wouldn’t that be nice?  In the meantime, if you need a distraction while you wait – welcome to my new website! I hope you’ll  find it easy to navigate and enjoy looking at my work.  Click on the “Workshops” link at the head of any page and you’ll find information about the printmaking courses that I run at Tamar Print Workshop;  these courses are open to everyone regardless of ability or experience.

Starting a blog is like being faced with a pristine canvas or a shiny new etching plate, but I have the notion that once I get going the blog will run in parallel with the progress of not only my work, but also the work of those who come to the workshop, week by week and month by month.  Here is a photo of last Thursday’s morning session – Tanya thinking about the results of her first etching since art college, with Masako’s colour reduction lino cuts in progress, and Pru’s first ever etching.

I’d be really grateful if you would click on the “Like” button (if you’re Facebook friendly) at the bottom of any page to help me spread the word about my new website.  And don’t forget to check out my Twitter profile too.
